As I worked on this painting, I was struck by not only how the two handsome German Shepard?s are so obviously well loved but also how this gift came to be commissioned by Sue Foster and her Mother. Sue brought me individual photographs of her Aunt and Uncle's two Shepards. Using two of the best photos, I brought both dogs together on the canvas. This work of art, honors not only the beauty of "Tyler" and "Sadie" but also Sue's loving spirit. Original in private collection. SOLD
